27 June –20 July
Six riverboat piers: Millbank, Embankment, Bankside, Tower, Canary Wharf and Greenwich QE2
Dark Waters is an RIBA London exhibition about rebuilding an ancient relationship with the Thames and an exploration of the nature of the connections that result. A unique Dark Waters Ordnance Survey Map has been commissioned for the exhibition, which is part of the London Festival of Architecture. During the festival which takes place during 20 June - 20 July 2008, six piers along the Thames have been selected for audiovisual installations that link Londoners with the Thames allowing them to experience the waters on an emotional and immersive level.
The Thames Clippers service forms part of the Dark Waters experience connecting the six piers with the five London Festival of Architecture hubs of activity, allowing visitors to travel between events and exhibitions by boat. Download the Dark Waters discounted voucher to use during the festival. Once on the Thames Clippers you can collect your FREE special edition Ordnance Survey map.
Visit the interviews section of the website www.darkwaters.org.uk| to listen to engaging discussions about the River Thames from experts including those who live on the river.
